Participation Requirements

 

In order to be eligible to participate in TESSA’s Green Your Business initiative, beneficiaries shall comply with the following requirements.

Selection Criteria

SELECTION CRITERIA

The evaluation process consists of three main steps/stages:

 

Stage 1:  Applicants will be assessed whether they comply with the requisites under section “Participation Requirements”. Only applicants complying will pass to stage 2.

Stage 2:  Applications will be evaluated using the evaluation criteria presented hereafter. Top scoring applicants will be preselected and will move to stage 3.

Stage 3:  Applicants will be screened, reviewed, and audited by the project team. The final selection criteria will consider diversity of projects involving several factors including:

  1. Energy Audit Outcome
  2. Sector of activity
  3. Company Size
  4. Energy mix
  5. Energy flow diversification
  6. SME Stage 2 Grade

 

In Stage 2 of the selection criteria, the applicants will be evaluated and rated based on the information provided and validated. Top scoring SMEs will be shortlisted, interviewed, and then selected:

 

A. TECHNICAL & ENERGY SAVING POTENTIAL

This section will evaluate the potential for productive and effective energy audit and ESCO implementation. It will also evaluate potential savings that could result from the work carried out by ESCO.

The maximum attainable score of this section is 650 points, making 65% of the overall score.

 

B. CAPACITY AND FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY

This section will evaluate the financial sustainability of the SME and its capacity to go into an ESCO agreement. The maximum attainable score of this section is 350 points, making 35% of the overall score.

The deadline for submitting applications is September 30, 2023.

Applications can be submitted in either of the following ways:

(1) Website Submission: Fill the application in electronic form, via website, with complete application and reference documents attached.

(2) Electronic Submission: Submit the application in scanned from, via email, with complete application and reference documents attached. Then follow-up with a phone call to confirm receipt.
